About the role

The Senior Business Insights & Controlling role is a pivotal position within Market Logic's Finance function. You will be responsible for financial reporting, planning, forecasting, cash‑flow management, business performance analysis, and optimisation of finance processes. The role provides critical financial insights to senior management, supports strategic decision‑making, ensures robust financial controls, and drives automation initiatives across the finance organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Lead business planning, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Provide financial insights and performance analysis to business leaders.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting and optimise working capital.
• Monitor and report SaaS KPIs such as NRR, GRR, CAC, CLTV and Rule of 40.
• Drive finance system improvements, automation and AI‑enabled reporting capabilities.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure financial governance and compliance.
• Support strategic decisions through financial modelling and analysis.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with leadership, business teams and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience in cash‑flow management and working‑capital optimisation.
• Familiarity with SaaS financial metrics (NRR, GRR, CAC, CLTV, Rule of 40).
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
