Senior Associate – Commercial Product & Brand Strategy (APAC)

About the role

Join Mattel’s APAC team to shape product portfolio growth across the region. You will translate market insights into commercially successful product, pricing, and assortment strategies, working closely with Global Brand and Regional Sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop regional product strategies aligned with brand priorities and commercial objectives.
• Recommend market‑specific product assortments to maximise performance.
• Partner with Global Brand Teams to influence product direction based on regional insights.
• Create pricing recommendations and manage portfolio mix to optimise profitability.
• Support forecasting, product lifecycle planning, and commercial analysis.
• Collaborate with Sales teams to design channel‑specific product strategies and identify new distribution opportunities.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse retailer and consumer trends, and provide recommendations to improve product profitability.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Marketing or related field.
• 3–5+ years experience in Buying, Merchandising, Category Management or Commercial Marketing.
• Proven experience developing product, pricing or assortment strategies.
• Strong analytical capability using sales, retailer and market data.
• Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and solve problems proactively.
