Senior Associate, Audit

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate in Audit to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diversified accounting and auditing engagements while developing deeper expertise in GAAP and auditing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diversified accounting and auditing assignments under the direction of supervisors and managers.
• Participate in planning and scheduling client engagements.
• Prepare and index working papers and execute procedures in accordance with GAAP.
• Develop a command of GAAP, specialized accounting principles, and financial statement presentations.
• Gain a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit techniques.
• Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary information while minimizing disruption.

Required profile

• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam (CPA certification preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with increasing audit and accounting responsibilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
