Senior Analyst EHR Applications

About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead the identification and implementation of optimal technical solutions for complex EHR business challenges. The role ensures seamless integration across systems, manages upgrades, and improves workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Lead efforts to identify optimal technical solutions for complex business issues and ensure system integration.
• Develop and manage work plans for analysis, testing, and implementation of system upgrades and enhancements.
• Oversee configuration, implementation, and maintenance of technical requirements across all environments.
• Analyze and improve work processes, evaluate feasibility for medium to large projects, and resolve operational challenges.
• Author detailed specifications and documentation, and design advanced test scenarios to validate system performance.
• Contribute to technology standards, best practices, and provide input on resource estimation.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED minimum; Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Healthcare preferred.
• 4+ years direct Epic build, implementation and support experience.
• 7+ years progressive experience in Information Services or combined IT and healthcare experience.
• Experience with large hospital/IDN IT environments and medium to large‑scale implementations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to lead, coach, and mentor teams.

Required skills

• Epic PB Administration, Epic PB Claims, Epic HB Administration, Epic HB Claims certifications.
• EPIC Application Certification plus at least one additional Epic certification.
• Project management experience, PMP certification preferred.
• Technical collaboration on interfaces, hardware, and reporting.
