Senior Account Manager - Commercial Entertainment Insurance

About the role

Momentous Insurance, a Marsh McLennan Agency, is hiring a full-time Senior Account Manager for its Commercial Entertainment team. This is a service position: the main purpose is to deliver high-quality service to customers and cross-sell within the existing book of business. The Senior Account Manager acts as the day-to-day link between the insurance company (MIB) and the accounts managed by Account Executives, Senior Account Executives and Producers.

Key responsibilities

• Daily customer service: coverage issues, contract and exposure analysis, auto ID cards, endorsements, routine coverage questions, problem solving, renewal control, formal proposals, policy checks and binding.
• Coordinate with Account Executives on strategic account issues and potential problems.
• Prepare and submit proposals and applications, obtain client signatures and follow up, and provide a Summary of Insurance for new and existing clients.
• Remarket accounts as directed and maintain accurate EPIC files.
• Handle cancellations promptly and prepare policies according to SOPs (letters, invoices, certificates, binders, etc.).
• Keep up to date on carrier websites, communications, new coverage options and billing procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in all areas of Commercial Entertainment insurance.
• Knowledge of underwriting and rating procedures for personal lines policies.
• Ability to quote new business and renewals, including higher limits, deductibles, earthquake, flood, mold, identity theft, umbrella, employment practices liability, inland marine, equipment breakdown and enhanced auto coverages.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Current California Department of Insurance license and 2-4 years of experience are listed as a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience using carrier websites to market and rate new and renewal business (e.g., Safeco, Allied, Travelers, Chartis, ACE, Chubb, Fireman's Fund).
• Ability to work in a stationary office setting for long periods.

• Base salary of $49,000 to $91,300, depending on experience, skills, training, location, certifications and education; possible performance-based incentives.
