Scrum Master (Remote Opportunity)

About the role

Mind Computing is looking for a full‑time, 100% remote Scrum Master to join a team supporting a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) project. You will guide Agile practices, remove impediments, and help the team deliver high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum events, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, demos, and PI planning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure transparency, innovation, and smooth CI/CD delivery.
• Assist the Product Manager with backlog refinement, prioritization, and alignment to business goals.
• Coach team members on Agile values, process improvements, and best practices.
• Work with senior client leadership and stakeholders to standardize processes and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a technical discipline, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing large‑scale software development, data management, or system integration projects.
• Proven ability to facilitate briefings with senior leadership and capture actionable outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
• Familiarity with SAFe and Kanban methodologies.
• Experience coaching Scrum teams and driving Agile adoption.
