About the role

The Scientist, Clinical Services will support in‑vivo pharmacokinetic (PK) and ADME studies in rodents under the guidance of Laboratory Animal Veterinarians. This hands‑on position is based at the South San Francisco research labs and contributes directly to preclinical drug development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute rodent in‑vivo PK, ADME, and related studies, including animal ordering, dosing (IV emphasis), clinical observations, anesthesia, peri‑operative monitoring, sample and tissue collection.
• Manage study timelines, maintain accurate records of animal treatments, study data, inventories, protocols and reports.
• Perform routine veterinary and colony management tasks, including weekend/holiday coverage.
• Support inspection readiness, safety initiatives, cost containment, efficiency and lean operational practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in in‑vivo research.
• Passion for animal care and welfare with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays.
