School Psychologist (Independent Contractor)

About the role

AIM (Assessment Intervention Management) seeks an experienced School Psychologist/LSSP to conduct comprehensive evaluations for students across Texas. Working as a 1099 independent contractor, you will enjoy flexibility while leveraging AIM's proprietary technology and support network.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Identifications and Evaluations (FIEs) and Re-Evaluations (REEDs) for students ages 0‑18 referred for special education services.
• Contribute findings to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and consult with teachers, parents, and community agencies on intervention strategies.
• Participate in ARD committee meetings to support placement decisions and produce accurate, timely evaluation reports that meet district and state requirements.
• Track and submit billable hours through QuickBooks.

Required profile

• Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Active Texas LSSP licensure.
• Demonstrated experience in psychological assessment of children and adolescents (0‑18).
• Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standardized test instruments and diagnostic software.
• Experience using special‑education management platforms.
• Comfortable with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks.
