About the role
The Upland Unified School District is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for the 2026/2027 school year. The professional will provide comprehensive psychoeducational services to students, support teachers and families, and contribute to the district’s commitment to inclusive education.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and prepare detailed reports.
- Present assessment findings and recommendations at Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and community resources to develop supportive interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in School Psychology (required).
- Valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential (School Psychology).
- Experience working with disadvantaged youth and presenting at IEP meetings.
- Strong written communication skills for assessment reports.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Required skills
- Psychoeducational assessment and report writing.
- Individual and group counseling techniques.
- Presentation of findings at IEP meetings.
- Bilingual/biliteracy abilities (highly desirable).
- BCBA certification (highly desirable).
