Scaled Onboarding Specialist

About the role

As a Scaled Onboarding Specialist at BILL, you will guide newly signed customers through a fast, high‑quality onboarding experience for both Spend & Expense and AP/AR workflows. The role focuses on speed‑to‑value, helping customers set up, integrate accounting software, and adopt core platform features quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct onboarding calls with new customers, driving activation and early product adoption.
• Configure initial platform settings, support accounting software integrations, and educate on best practices.
• Identify and resolve real‑time questions, risks, or blockers to keep onboarding on track.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and other teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
• Maintain accurate documentation and notes throughout the onboarding process.

Required profile

• 2+ years of customer‑facing experience in onboarding, implementation, or customer success.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust quickly.
• Experience in fast‑paced environments with a focus on customer experience.
• Comfort working across multiple products and processes.

Required skills

• SaaS experience.
• Familiarity with fintech or financial software.
• Understanding of AP, spend management, and accounting software workflows.
