Accounts Payable Manager

About the role

Kyocera-AVX is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee all North America Accounts Payable operations, including the full accounts payable workflow. The role leads invoice processing, employee expense reimbursements, vendor payments, reconciliations and month-end close, while partnering with management and auditors on reporting, efficiency and long-term strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day North America Accounts Payable operations and supervise direct reports
• Lead, develop, train and support Accounts Payable staff
• Partner with senior leadership on staffing, systems, policies and continuous improvement
• Manage AP systems, including implementation, maintenance, upgrades and process enhancements
• Set, monitor and report KPIs, and ensure invoices, expense reports and vendor payments are accurate and timely
• Build relationships with business leaders, Purchasing, Treasury, Accounting and vendors
• Resolve escalated AP issues and vendor inquiries, and lead monthly reconciliations and month-end close
• Support internal and external audits, prepare management reports and ensure compliance with policies and regulations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
• Previous supervisory or management experience
• Preferred: experience in a multi-entity or multinational environment, treasury or cash management, and leading process improvement or system implementation projects
