Salesforce Solutions Architect

About the role

ddn is hiring a Salesforce Solution Architect for its GTM Business Applications team in New York. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders (Sales, Channel/Partner, Service, RevOps) and the engineering team, designing and delivering scalable, platform-oriented solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud. The role covers the full customer and partner lifecycle, from partner registration and enablement through opportunity management, quotas and forecasting, quoting handoffs and service and portal experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business needs into user stories and technical requirements, and lead solution design sessions with Senior Engineers
• Map business processes across partner registration, account and territory management, opportunity management, quotas and forecasting, quoting, case management and portal experiences
• Configure and administer Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud portals, including territories, case routing, entitlements and SLAs, and portal user provisioning and licensing
• Manage Flow Automations, approval rules, permission sets and the security and sharing model
• Design data models, integration touchpoints and cross-cloud data flows with engineering, covering marketing automation, order management and ERP integrations
• Drive process governance, data quality and reporting, and support sprint planning, backlog grooming and UAT
• Propose scalable Salesforce solutions to improve GTM and service processes, stay current with Salesforce releases, and document requirements and configurations
• Support end-user training, adoption and knowledge transfer across internal teams and offshore resources

Required profile

• 5-7 years of professional experience, with 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
• Strong process orientation, with a track record of mapping, documenting and improving end-to-end business processes
• Hands-on experience with partner registration and PRM workflows, and with opportunity, territory and account management
• Working knowledge of CPQ concepts and experience collaborating with CPQ specialists (CPQ expertise not required)
• Ability to bridge business stakeholders and engineering teams, and to turn complex requirements into scalable configurations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience

Required skills

• Salesforce platform administration: Flow Automations, approval rules, security and sharing models
• Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model and integration patterns (APIs, middleware concepts)
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience

Nice to have: Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder or CPQ Specialist certifications; experience with channel/partner programs and PRM at scale; exposure to managed packages such as Conga or DocuSign; forecasting and pipeline analytics experience; CI/CD tools such as Copado or Gearset.
