Sales Representative – Independent Retail – San Diego North

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative to grow and manage independent retail accounts in San Diego North. You will represent our beer, wine and spirits portfolio, build strong relationships with customers, and drive sales performance in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned accounts daily, creating efficient routing patterns and identifying sales opportunities.
• Deliver professional sales presentations, introduce new products, and manage back‑bar and well placements.
• Maintain product inventory on‑site, restock shelves where legally permissible, and conduct regular inventory checks.
• Provide brand education through staff training seminars.
• Process credits, returns, and manage receivables, ensuring timely collection of payments.
• Handle customer issues, deliver products in extenuating circumstances, and coordinate with management as needed.
• Achieve sales, volume, and distribution targets set for supplier brands.
• Monitor inventory levels, alert management to stock‑outs, and support new account openings.

Required profile

• Current associate eligible to apply through the internal Career Portal.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for traveling to customer locations.
• Strong passion for customer service and ability to thrive in a high‑energy sales environment.
• Ability to meet or exceed sales and merchandising objectives.
