Sales Representative – Independent Retail – Marin County

About the role

Breakthru Beverage Group is seeking a Sales Representative to manage independent retail accounts in Marin County. The role involves cultivating relationships, driving sales of supplier brands, and delivering excellent customer service while traveling to customer locations.

Key responsibilities

• Visit accounts on a daily route, conduct sales presentations, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with national account standards.
• Achieve sales and merchandising objectives by planning, tracking purchase history, and maintaining brand visibility.
• Handle receivables, process credits and returns, and collect payments where legally permissible.
• Provide education and training to account staff on priority brands.
• Support new account openings and participate in supplier sales initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years of sales experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and presentation software.

What we offer

• Base salary $75k‑$100k plus uncapped commission and bonus eligibility.
• Mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per business mile.
