Sales Manager, Redi Carpet (Phoenix, AZ)

About the role

HD Supply is hiring a Sales Manager for its Redi Carpet business in Phoenix, Arizona. You will manage and direct a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a territory, design and recommend sales and marketing programs, and partner with multifamily owners, property managers and communities. The role involves face-to-face selling, prospecting and driving growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and direct a sales force, defining the sales process and developing efficient, creative sales strategies.
• Analyze territory data to identify opportunities for sales and revenue growth.
• Develop and implement sales and customer retention programs to improve performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Plan, forecast and report on sales and competitive pricing activities and tactics.
• Manage and develop direct reports, including outside sales and special product sales, and coach the team.
• Spend time in the field resolving escalated issues with customers and internal partners.

Required profile

• Typically a Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a related discipline; an advanced degree may offset less experience.
• Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field; certification may be required.
• A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required, as the position requires operating a personal vehicle more than 20% of the average work week.
