Sales Manager – Community Leasing & Retention

About the role

The Sales Manager leads the community’s sales, leasing, and resident‑retention strategy, driving occupancy, revenue and customer satisfaction. This position oversees on‑site sales performance, prospect management, CRM utilization and outreach initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop on‑site Sales Consultants to meet occupancy, move‑in and revenue targets.
• Set monthly sales objectives, monitor metrics and implement action plans.
• Develop and execute strategic leasing and marketing plans, analyze market conditions and adjust tactics.
• Manage prospect activity in CRM, monitor lead response times and conversion rates.
• Create outreach strategies with local businesses, community groups and referral sources.
• Ensure a best‑in‑class prospect experience from inquiry through move‑in and support resident issue resolution.
• Prepare and analyze sales reports, occupancy forecasts and marketing effectiveness metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of sales, leasing or senior‑living experience.
• Proven success achieving occupancy, revenue and performance goals.
• Experience leading, coaching or mentoring sales teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management/CRM systems.
• Strong CRM reporting and data‑analysis abilities.
• Competence in internet, word processing, spreadsheet and database management tools.
