Physician Relations Liaison

About the role

The Physician Relations Liaison will serve as a bridge between community physicians and UAMS service lines, driving growth of hospital and specialty services through relationship building and strategic engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with physicians, identifying needs and presenting UAMS service line solutions.
• Track and report monthly, quarterly, and annual growth metrics to leadership.
• Conduct sales calls and visits, create physician/practice profiles, and coordinate internal sales activities.
• Participate in monthly meetings with service line directors to align efforts and set target lists.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and at least three years of sales experience, preferably in physician recruitment, medical, or pharmaceutical sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, and conflict‑management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and navigate politically sensitive situations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with account‑management platforms such as Salesforce or ACT.
• Advanced computer software skills for reporting and data analysis.
