Sales Lead - Furniture Retail

About the role

1915 South, which owns and operates 30 Ashley stores and 3 distribution centers across the southeast, is hiring a Sales Lead in its Dothan location. The Sales Lead actively sells while providing floor leadership when the manager is absent. Pay is driven by individual sales performance, with bonus opportunities linked to coaching effectiveness and associate development.

Key responsibilities

• Sales leadership and floor execution, including upselling
• Customer experience and guest support
• Inventory management, promotion control and cash handling
• Facilities and building oversight
• Culture management and communication, including huddle leadership
• Store operations and standards
• Training and performance management
• KPI reporting and management meetings
• Bedding finance and protection finance

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Retail sales experience, specifically in furniture, preferred
• Able to stand and walk for long periods and lift occasionally
• Available weekdays, weekends and holidays as required
