About the role
We are seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented merchandiser to maintain a small branded cooler/freezer unit at a local grocery store in Dothan. This part‑time, 1099 independent contractor position offers flexible scheduling based on client needs.
Key responsibilities
- Visit the store once per week, following client requirements.
- Perform bi‑weekly full product changeouts, including defrosting, restocking, and updating signage.
- Check inventory levels on other visits and restock as needed (average 20 minutes).
- Verify thermostat settings are accurate according to instructions.
- Report service via smartphone on the same day, including required photos.
Required profile
- Lives within a 10‑15 mile radius of the store.
- Comfortable using a smartphone to document tasks.
- Seeking supplemental income rather than a full‑time position.
- Aware that mileage or drive‑time reimbursement is not provided.
What we offer
- $15‑18 per visit, paid for a full hour even if the task takes less time.
