Sales Intern - Insurance Sales

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Sales Intern on its Sales team. The internship offers real-world business, risk management and insurance experience, applying classroom concepts through projects and client interaction. It focuses on the tools needed to build a foundation for a Client Management or Sales career pathway.

Key responsibilities

• Support prospecting efforts through pre-meeting research, research meeting note-taking and post-meeting summaries.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of events.
• Support key sales initiatives through strategic planning, research and analysis.

Required profile

• Working towards or having acquired a Bachelor's or master's degree, ideally in business, marketing, digital marketing, sales, communications, public relations or entrepreneurship.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a high sense of urgency.
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, management and peers.
• Ability to adapt approach when working with different colleagues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-starter with strong ethics.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications is preferred but not required.
