Business Insurance Sales Producer

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency is hiring Insurance Sales Producers for its Business Insurance teams in Minneapolis, MN and Eau Claire, WI. The agency offers a small-agency feel backed by the resources of an international corporation, with a driven, entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Generate revenue and meet sales quotas
• Develop and qualify leads through cold-calling, networking and other lead-generation activities
• Build new business-to-business accounts
• Use a consultative sales approach to write proposals to C-Level executives

Required profile

• 2-5 years of outside B2B selling
• Proven ability to ask the right questions to build credibility quickly and align offerings with client needs
• Experience in the midmarket (companies with 100-1,000 employees)
• Established books of business are welcomed
• Assertive yet consultative style
• BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience
