Sales Engineer – Technical HVAC Solutions

About the role

The Sales Engineer will develop and maintain long‑term customer relationships, driving account penetration and retention across contractor, consulting engineer, and architect accounts. This role blends technical HVAC expertise with strategic sales execution to deliver tailored solutions from design through project completion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify key customers, create action plans, and grow accounts using the account management process.
• Convert leads into opportunities, coordinate project teams, and manage the sales process through proposal and negotiation.
• Gather project requirements, perform facility walk‑throughs, and develop HVAC system designs and schedules.
• Prepare takeoffs, select and price equipment, controls, and services, and validate proposals with customers.
• Present proposals, negotiate terms, and transition projects to the operations team.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5‑10 years of HVAC field sales experience and strong sales, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel at least 20% and work independently to achieve results.
