Sales Development Representative – Georgetown Territory

About the role

This full‑time Sales Development Representative position rotates through multiple territories, with the primary focus on Southern Delaware (Sussex County and surrounding areas). The role supports the sales of supplier brands to trade accounts and may assist the Merchandising Department during peak periods.

Key responsibilities

• Visit accounts on a daily route, creating efficient routing patterns and delivering professional sales presentations that include display ideas, new products, and promotions.
• Maintain product levels by taking inventory, restocking shelves where legal, and ensuring maximum brand visibility with point‑of‑sale materials.
• Collect payments, process credits and returns, and manage aged receivables.
• Educate account staff through training seminars on brand portfolios.
• Track buying patterns, pricing, and product programming to meet distribution, volume, and activity goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to hold a Solicitor’s Permit is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using presentation software.
