Sales Consultant – Retail Furniture

About the role

Haverty Furniture is looking for a motivated Sales Consultant to join its Tyler, TX store. You will help customers select furniture that fits their style and needs, creating inviting home environments while achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Guide customers through the sales process from initial contact to delivery.
• Provide product, service, and financing information tailored to each client.
• Use company tablets and the proprietary CRM system to record client details and follow up professionally.
• Collaborate with the Interior Design Consultant to reinforce selections and complete room looks.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of furniture styles, collections, and promotions.

Required profile

• Highly driven, self‑motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with a diverse customer base.
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including nights and weekends.

• Base salary with uncapped commission; total earnings typically $55,000–$100,000+ per year.
