Sales and Marketing Assistant (Odoo)

About the role

An established beverage trading company is looking for a Sales and Marketing Assistant to expand its market reach and drive business growth. The role works closely with leadership on sales initiatives, marketing campaigns and business development, connecting with new customers and growing the company's presence in international markets. It is a Monday to Friday schedule, 20 work hours per week, with flexible hours between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM Houston time.

Key responsibilities

• Create and develop marketing materials for campaigns and initiatives
• Perform administrative tasks supporting sales and marketing operations
• Prepare content for website updates, CRM entries and social channels
• Support sales outreach by preparing lists, follow-ups and email drafts
• Research new suppliers and verify product availability, pricing and terms
• Track customer inquiries and follow-ups in the CRM (Odoo experience is a plus)
• Maintain product and pricing lists, assist with shipment tracking and ETAs, and organize files such as spreadsheets and order trackers
• Draft and send professional emails and WhatsApp messages, and use AI tools to analyze product prices and potential profit margins

Required profile

• Direct experience in the FMCG or logistics industry is a must
• Strong English reading, writing and speaking
• Ability to create marketing materials in Canva
• Strong communication skills for phone-based customer interactions
• Administrative and organizational capabilities, detail-oriented and proactive
• Availability during the client's business hours with flexible scheduling
