Rural Health Senior Manager – Strategy, Growth & Transformation

About the role

The Rural Health Senior Manager will originate and shape transformation opportunities with state clients and lead complex engagements involving hospital executives, health system operators, payers, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and pursue new rural health transformation opportunities across state and health system clients.
• Maintain executive‑level relationships with Medicaid agencies, hospital leaders, payers, and other key stakeholders.
• Shape go‑to‑market strategy, solution architecture, and proposal positioning.
• Represent Deloitte at national industry conferences, health system forums, and policy convenings.
• Lead engagements as project leader, governing scope, budget, schedule, risks, quality, and team performance.
• Provide executive client governance and align recommendations with operating realities and strategic priorities.
• Build and lead multidisciplinary project teams, coach team leads, and support business development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare consulting, commercial health, or hospital administration.
• Deep commercial health or hospital administration expertise from senior operating, advisory, or consulting roles.
• Proven success leading complex, multi‑workstream healthcare engagements.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and obtain a security clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
