Room Service Delivery Attendant

About the role

Loews New Orleans Hotel in the Warehouse District of New Orleans is looking for a warm, detail-oriented Room Service Delivery Attendant. You will be the face of the hotel's hospitality, delivering meals with precision and anticipating guest needs so that every stay is memorable and stress-free.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver food, beverages and amenities promptly and accurately to guest rooms.
• Set up trays, carts or in-room dining tables with precision and care.
• Greet guests warmly, explain orders and answer questions professionally.
• Ensure orders meet hotel presentation standards and address guest concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to keep service smooth and timely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in room service areas, clearing used trays and restocking supplies.
• Follow food handling and sanitation guidelines and maintain regular attendance.
• Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.

• Service-oriented professional who delivers outstanding guest experiences with a genuine smile.
• Clear communicator, able to convey information confidently and courteously in person and by phone.
• Detail-driven, ensuring every tray, cart and table setup meets high presentation standards.
• Adaptable team player who works well with kitchen and bar teams.
• Dependable and positive, bringing reliability to every shift.
• Ability to lift and carry food service trays weighing 35 pounds or more.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; prior food service experience preferred.
