Room Attendant

About the role

Loews New Orleans Hotel, located in the Warehouse District of New Orleans, is looking for a detail-driven Room Attendant. The role keeps guest rooms and bathrooms clean and welcoming, combining efficiency with care so that every room feels like a home away from home.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms to Loews Hotels' standards.
• Replace linens and amenities and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Organize cleaning carts and linen closets, keeping supplies stocked and used properly.
• Report lost items, suspicious behaviour and other irregularities to supervisors.
• Attend departmental meetings and assist in related areas when needed.
• Tell guests accurate information about hotel facilities and services.
• Maintain a professional appearance, follow uniform standards and give friendly, helpful guest service.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and departmental procedures for chemicals and emergencies.
• Work regular attendance, attend all mandatory training and meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.
• May need to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous cleaning, hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.
• Able to walk, stand, reach and bend, and to push, lift and pull items up to 25 lbs repeatedly during a shift.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Guest-centered, precise, reliable, proactive, team-oriented and adaptable.
