Room Attendant – Housekeeper

About the role

The Room Attendant ensures guest rooms are clean, well‑maintained and meet the hotel’s standards. You will interact with guests, maintain high cleanliness standards, and support the housekeeping team during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to standards, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, changing linens and restocking amenities.
• Polish furniture and fixtures, dust surfaces, and report any needed repairs to management.
• Process lost‑and‑found items per policy and assist with house‑person and lobby duties when needed.
• Maintain awareness of guest satisfaction scores and work to improve overall guest experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred; previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.
• Willingness to work varied schedules, including holidays and weekends, and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 20 lb, and using cleaning chemicals.
