Robotics Software Engineer II – Mission Team

About the role

As a Robotics Software Engineer II on the Mission Behavior team, you will build the core engine that enables rapid customization of robot behavior for new use cases, turning robots into a scalable platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high‑quality software across the stack, including core engine extensions, scalable APIs, cloud integrations, and AI‑driven natural‑language configuration.
• Own backend infrastructure, drive architectural decisions, and ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of complex distributed systems.
• Lead projects from conception to deployment, define goals, manage timelines, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Passion for technology, innovation, and continuous learning.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go and/or C++.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud computing.
• Familiarity with ROS is preferred.
