RN/LPN Private Duty Nursing: All Shifts (Tacoma & Seattle)

About the role

Journey Nursing Services is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for one‑on‑one private duty positions across Western Washington. The role offers flexible full‑time or part‑time schedules, including day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts, allowing nurses to provide personalized, relationship‑centered care in patients' homes or community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑on‑one skilled nursing care in private homes, adult family homes, or assisted living communities.
• Perform nursing assessments, implement individualized Plans of Care, and administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor patient status, document accurately in electronic medical records, and report any changes to the care team.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and treatments.

Required profile

• Current Washington State RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and compassionate, patient‑centered approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
