Sleep Medicine Physician

About the role

MultiCare Neuroscience Institute is seeking a board‑certified Sleep Medicine Physician to join its comprehensive sleep practice. The role involves diagnosing and managing a wide range of sleep disorders while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, and advanced practitioners.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with insomnia, sleep apnea, UARS, narcolepsy, and other sleep disorders.
• Develop individualized care plans and coordinate follow‑up care.
• Utilize MultiCare’s clinical, administrative, and IT resources to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in research, education, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent degree.
• Unrestricted Washington medical license.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Sleep Medicine.
• Completion of residency and/or fellowship in Sleep Medicine.
• DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority.

Required skills

• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
