RN Weekender Flex – Pre/Post Neuro Expansion

About the role

Join the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute as an RN on the Neuro Pre/Post Critical Care team, providing care for patients in a state‑of‑the‑art 15‑floor facility. This Weekender Flex position offers two 12‑hour weekend night shifts and one 12‑hour weekday shift, with full‑time status and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients across 36 beds, from admission to discharge.
• Implement, monitor, and update patient care plans, documenting conditions and communicating changes.
• Administer medications and treatments according to approved nursing protocols.
• Educate patients and families, addressing cultural considerations and special concerns.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
• One year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience.
• Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within one year of hire.
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and limited holidays.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
• Medication administration and patient monitoring.
