RN Supervisor – Gastroenterology Clinic (Full‑Time Days)

About the role

The Gastroenterology Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering high‑quality outpatient care. This full‑time, day‑shift position focuses on patient flow, compliance, and continuous improvement of clinical services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate patient care activities across the department.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, CDC, state health, ADA, FMLA, and other regulatory standards.
• Manage the department’s annual budget and collaborate with physicians to improve care quality.
• Conduct daily quality‑control and equipment checks, evaluate patient acuity, and expedite testing and clearances.
• Oversee HIPAA compliance, coach staff on privacy regulations, and coordinate infection‑control programs.
• Provide clinical education in the absence of a dedicated educator and assume patient assignments when staffing is limited.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina or a compact state.
• Minimum three years of RN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive quality improvement.

Required skills

• Infection‑control protocols and exposure management.
