RN – Ortho/Neuro/Trauma

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Orthopaedic, Neurosurgery and Trauma unit at Hillcrest Hospital. This night‑shift position (7:00 pm‑7:30 am) provides direct care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast‑paced, Level 2 trauma environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and communicate patient conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing protocols.
• Document and carry out physician and nursing orders, assess discharge needs, and educate patients and families.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• RN licensure and ability to administer medications.
