RN – Neuro/Stroke

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro/Stroke unit at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights. You will join a Magnet‑recognized facility, providing care to patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis during night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients on the 4th‑floor Neuroscience Unit.
• Implement, monitor, and update individualized patient care plans.
• Record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions to the care team.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and follow physician orders.
• Assess discharge needs and coordinate patient transitions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid RN license.
