RN – Neonatal ICU (NICU) – Night Shift

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital NICU is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct, family‑centered care for neonates during night shifts with on‑call responsibilities. You will work in a Magnet‑recognized environment delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based care to ill and low‑birth‑weight infants.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonates, following hospital policies and protocols.
• Implement, monitor, and adjust patient care plans, administer medications and treatments, and document patient status.
• Coordinate discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team and communicate patient condition to physicians and families.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• NRP certification within one year of hire and current BLS certification.
• At least one year of acute‑care hospital experience or equivalent military RN experience.

Required skills

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
