About the role

The RN – MedSurg/Telemetry – PRN position provides patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. This role acts as a leader on the unit, delegating and directing team members to achieve quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care and assess learning needs.
Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources, serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
Use data and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal patient outcomes.

Required profile

Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Registered nurse diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
No prior work experience required.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
