RN – Med/Surg and Oncology

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital as a Registered Nurse on the Parkview I Oncology and Women’s Health unit. You will provide comprehensive medical‑surgical and oncology care to adult patients, supporting them throughout their treatment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patient conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments and follow physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate discharge needs and educate patients and families.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• One year of acute‑care RN experience or licensed military RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Chemotherapy competency within six months of hire; additional training in end‑of‑life care and IV therapy.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required if working in a critical‑care area.
