About the role
The Cleveland Clinic Health System’s Mercy Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 2M Medical/Surgical & Surgical Care Unit. This full‑time night shift position supports a high‑acuity floor caring for post‑operative, cardiac, stroke and telemetry patients.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and execute physician orders.
- Develop, monitor, and update patient care plans while documenting patient conditions.
- Coordinate discharge planning and educate patients and families.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
- Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
