RN Ambulatory – Outpatient Infusion Center

About the role

The RN Ambulatory position supports the Outpatient Infusion Center at Mercy Hospital, providing direct patient care in an ambulatory setting. You will work weekdays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with no weekend or holiday requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients, perform nursing assessments, and develop care plans.
• Administer medications, start IVs, access ports, give injections, and perform lab draws.
• Provide telephone triage, emergency measures such as CPR, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and travel to support physician clinics as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of recent RN experience (or equivalent clinical experience for internal transfers).
• Ability to work full range of motion, manual dexterity, and meet physical requirements.
