About the role
The Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) at Mercy Hospital provides fast‑paced care for telemetry and observation patients. As a PRN Registered Nurse you will support the team by delivering direct nursing care across varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Carry out physician and nursing orders and assess discharge needs.
- Maintain professional growth through ongoing education and clinical study.
Required profile
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Two years of recent related nursing experience (or internal candidates with less experience after orientation).
