RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Health System as a Registered Nurse on the Labor & Delivery unit at Hillcrest Hospital. This night‑shift position (7:00 pm‑7:30 am) includes on‑call duties and provides comprehensive care from admission through discharge for mothers and newborns.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans for laboring mothers and newborns.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions, including electronic fetal monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments according to nursing protocols.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and cultural considerations.
• Coordinate discharge planning and ensure smooth transition of care.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
