RN – Intermediate Care Unit – Night Shift

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) at Florida Weston Hospital. This night‑shift position (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) provides care for patients who need more support than routine care but do not require full critical‑care intensity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and follow physician and nursing orders.
• Develop, monitor, and update patient care plans; document and communicate patient conditions.
• Assess discharge needs and educate patients and families about care plans.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Florida.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of hire.
