RN – Hematology Oncology

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Hematology Oncology infusion team at Florida Weston Hospital. The RN will provide patient‑centered care throughout the chemotherapy infusion process, supporting weekend and weekday shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care, administer chemotherapy and other prescribed medications.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions and response to treatment.
• Educate patients and families about infusion therapy and post‑treatment care.
• Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with physicians, APPs, and the nursing manager.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of acute care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
• Completion of a Chemo/Bio course within two years of employment.

Required skills

• Chemotherapy medication administration and protocol knowledge.
• Infusion therapy techniques.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
