RN – ICU Stepdown – Night Shift

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System’s Mercy Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 10M ICU/Stepdown Unit. This night‑shift position (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) provides direct care to high‑acuity pulmonology and cardiac patients in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care, including medication administration, monitoring of ventilators, tracheostomies, and IV therapy.
• Develop, update, and evaluate patient care plans while documenting patient status and communicating changes to the care team.
• Educate patients and families about treatments, discharge planning, and post‑hospital care.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum one year of acute‑care RN experience (military RN experience considered).

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active RN license in the state of Ohio.
