RN – Homecare – West Cuyahoga County

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Home Care team provides skilled nursing, therapy and social services to patients recovering at home after hospital stays or procedures. As a Registered Nurse you will deliver short‑term intermittent acute care, working autonomously in patients' homes across West Cuyahoga County.

Key responsibilities

• Perform lab draws, including peripheral sticks and central line collections.
• Provide comprehensive wound care, including measurements, documentation and wound vac management.
• Insert IVs, administer IV antibiotics, push medications and manage central lines.
• Educate patients and families throughout the recovery process and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Ohio RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and automobile insurance meeting required coverage.
• At least one year of recent RN experience in acute medical/surgical or home‑care settings.

Required skills

• Lab draw techniques (peripheral and central).
• Wound care and wound vac operation.
• IV insertion and medication administration.
