Homecare Float RN – Weekender Flex (West of I‑77)

About the role

Join the Cleveland Clinic team as a Homecare Float RN – Weekender Flex, providing direct nursing care to patients west of I‑77. You will work 12‑hour shifts from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, covering weekend days and one additional weekday shift. This position supports patients with a wide variety of needs in their home environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, manage symptoms, draw labs, and perform wound care including wound vac changes.
• Initiate and educate patients on new antibiotic therapies and ensure seamless care transitions.
• Uphold quality standards through chart audits, supervisory visits, and adherence to agency protocols.
• Supervise starts of care, resumptions of care, and routine visits as requested.
• Perform accurate admission assessments, reassessments, and assess patients for safety risks, abuse, and neglect.
• Coordinate all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care and document pain assessments.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current RN licensure in Ohio and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and automobile insurance meeting policy requirements.
• At least one year of current clinical experience as an RN, including acute medical‑surgical or home‑care setting.
