About the role

The Registered Nurse will work on the J82 24‑bed step‑down unit dedicated to solid organ transplant patients, including heart and lung. You will provide direct patient care, education, and support throughout the transplant journey.

Key responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care and implement, monitor, and update patient care plans.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments, record patient conditions, and communicate changes to the care team.
Assess and coordinate discharge needs and educate patients and families.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
At least one year of acute care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
