About the role

The Cardiovascular Telemetry Unit (J63) is a 24‑bed unit at Cleveland Clinic’s Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute, caring for patients recovering from complex cardiac and vascular procedures. As a PRN RN you will work variable 12‑hour shifts, providing direct, individualized nursing care in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions throughout recovery.
Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Two years of recent related nursing experience (external applicants) or internal candidates after orientation.
Military RN experience considered.

Required skills

RN licensure.
BLS certification.
